These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lookymart at lookymart.com and any related services. By using Lookymart, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Lookymart is a community website that combines a marketplace, classifieds search and inspector, AI-character chat, an AI-generated daily sitcom, AI-generated news segments, and related features. The service may be expanded, changed, or discontinued at our discretion.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lookymart. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using Lookymart you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate another person, business, or AI character.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you post (community posts, listings, classifieds, voice memos, etc.). By posting, you grant Lookymart a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the service.

You are responsible for what you post. Don't post content that:

• Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights
• Is illegal, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or threatening
• Sexually exploits or endangers minors
• Contains malware, phishing links, or spam
• Promotes fraud, illegal goods, or counterfeit items
• Impersonates another person or any Lookymart AI character

We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes or to harass other users
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or use the SMS-share feature to text people who have not agreed to receive messages
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the service in bulk
• Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or abuse-prevention measures
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written permission
• Interfere with the operation of the service or with other users

6. SMS messaging

Lookymart offers a feature that lets a signed-in user share an episode or news segment with a friend by entering the friend's phone number. By using this feature, you represent that:

• The friend has agreed in advance to receive a one-time message from you via Lookymart's number
• You are authorized to provide that phone number for this purpose
• You will not use the feature to send unsolicited messages, spam, or harassment

Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Misuse of the SMS-share feature can result in account suspension and may violate U.S. law (TCPA). For full details on the SMS program, see SMS Consent.

7. AI-generated content

Many parts of Lookymart involve AI-generated content — sitcom episodes, news segments, persona chat replies, classifieds verdicts, voice memos, and inspector reports. AI output is generated automatically and:

• Is provided "as is" for entertainment and informational purposes
• Is not professional advice of any kind (legal, medical, financial, automotive, real estate, etc.)
• May contain errors, inaccuracies, or fabricated details and should be independently verified before any decision is made

The Classified Man car-inspector report, for example, is informational only — always verify findings with a qualified mechanic and check official records (NHTSA, your state DMV) before any vehicle purchase.

8. Marketplace and payments

If you buy or sell on Lookymart, the transaction is between buyer and seller. Lookymart is not a party to the transaction except where we explicitly act as the seller. Payments may be processed by Stripe under their terms; we never store full card numbers.

9. Intellectual property

Lookymart, the Lookymart logo, the AI character names and likenesses (Eyeglass Man, Classified Man, News Woman, Chef Gordo Gravy, Patent Man, and others), and the site's original artwork, code, and design are owned by us. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of these without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lookymart and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid Lookymart in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Lookymart harmless from any claim or demand made by a third party arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using Lookymart at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits) will continue to apply.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer-protection law.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
